The beginning of July is fast approaching and for those of you in the medical professions you know this means that a new class of residents are getting ready to start. In preparation of this exciting event we attended the Resident Welcome BBQ for the new pharmacy residents tonight. We had a wonderful time. There were 6 toddlers/older babies who spent the entire time playing with each other as well as chasing the dog or the cat. Callum was no exception! He spent close to an hour chasing the Yates' dog, Ellerie (most of the time he was chasing on two feet rather than crawling!! YEAH CALLUM!!).
The afternoon also presented the opportunity for Callum to meet, interact with, and feed four horses. From a distance Callum was very intrigued by the horses; however, once they got close to him he discovered they were more than big dogs and they were SCARY! After a few minutes he relaxed a little; however, he refused to even try and touch them and clung to Mommy as she petted them.
