We have been debating between getting Callum a Cozy Coupe now (so he can play with it through the fall) or waiting until Christmas and giving it to him to play with next summer; however, in the end we decided againist waiting and againist the Cozy Coupe all together. Instead we purchased Callum a Radio Flyer Trike which is made for kiddos 18 months - 3 years old, so it fits him now and should in the future. In addition we purchased him a helmet, which might be overkill with a tricycle but we figured that wearing one is a habit we should start early and that there will likely be a disagreement between Callum and I in the future about something he wants to do which will only be resolved by the compromise "As long as you wear your helmet." (Additionally the helmet will make skating with Daddy at the Riverkings Hockey games safer, so all in all it was a good purchase).
Daddy getting Callum's feet on the pedals (which did not last long; however, he did pedal a few times on his own during the 25 minute activity)

Ready, Set, GO
