All things Squirmy and Slimy...

Last Saturday Callum had his first experience with all things alimy, including worms and a garden snake. Brett's parents backyard faces a greenbelt and the boys in the neighborhood spent a good portion of Saturday morning digging for crawdads (which they did find a huge one so it was worth their time). In addition to crawdads they also found worms and we thought it would be fun to show them to Callum, Callum thought otherwise.
"Seriously?? He wants me to touch this?"

Saturday afternoon we went over to visit Brett's Uncle Pat and Aunt Cheri. We had a delicious lunch (Callum had his first Panini and even ate some of the salad) and Callum tried to reorrangize the tupperware in their kitchen.

We then went out to see the fish and the turtles in their backyard. Aunt Cheri tried to get Callum to look at the fish unforunately Callum was more interested in trying to swim in the pond then look at the fish. While we were out there Brett found a HUGE garden snake in their bog pond and Brett was the onely one interested in looking at it as the rest of us are not fans of snakes including Callum who kept trying to hide from it. After communing with nature the boys tried jumping on the trampoline and Callum had mixed emotions about this but in the end I think that he had fun.
