After watching the Puppy Bowl (and the Superbowl) on Sunday, the importance of practice was brought home to Callum and he has decided that he needed to start practicing holding a baby in order to prepare for the big day when 'Kermit" arrives. Last night Brett and Callum were trying to show me how good Callum was at holding the baby. (The cabbage patch doll is from Brett's childhood)
With a little help Callum was able to cradle the baby...
and then rock the baby.
He even is able hold the baby and give it a kiss.
He can even steal the baby's sugar.
All of the above (at least the top three) bode well for Callum's care of 'Kermit'; however, after he completed all of these this things (probably all were completed with 30 seconds) Callum proceeded to drop the baby like a ton of bricks. We thought this might have been an accident so we got him to cradle the baby again and lo and behold he dropped it again, so I guess more practice is in order.
