Sand Box Fun

After a busy weekend it was nice to have as a family day at home today.  We watched TV, everyone relaxed, and then after naps we headed to the playground in our neighborhood to play in the sand and burn off some energy.

Callum and Daddy decided to build a BIG mountain of sand as part of the race track they were building.

Finley wanted to help too; however, a rake is not the most useful digging tool 

Brett decided that it might be fun to bury F in the sand (C told him it would not but Daddy didn't listen) 

Turns out Callum was right. 

In the end Daddy was able to turn the mountain into a bridge/tunnel which Callum thought was "Awesome."

"Peek-a-boo"

(and she even went down the slide on her tummy all by herself for the first time) 

"Daddy Car" is what Finley proclaimed after Brett sent the car down the slide behind her.
