Saturday Brett and Callum headed out to Lowe's for their free Build and Grow Clinic. If you haven't heard of these they are free clinics that they offer a couple of weekends a month and the kiddos get to make a project from a kit that Lowe's sells outside of the clinic for around $10 but during the clinic it is absolutely free. In addition to the project the kiddos get an apron and goggles and then a patch for each project they complete that they can put on their apron at home and wear the next time they go. This was the first clinic that the boys went to and they will definitely be headed back (the 15th of July to be exact) to make another project. This week they were making, as Callum puts it, a Madagas"car." It was a tough project and Brett and Callum worked together to complete it but when they were down Callum was VERY proud of himself and his project (which he has slept with in his bed since the clinic).
