Our next door neighbor in our new neighborhood hosts an Annual Halloweenie roast at her house each year on Halloween and then all the kiddos go trick or treating together while some of the families with grown children man the table where we all put our buckets of candy for all the kiddos who come to trick or treat our street. It is the one stop candy spot. We were very excited about this event and had a great time getting to know our neighbors a little a better.

the ice bucket. Despite it being 50 degrees outside she was happy as a clam playing with the cold drinks and ice (we decided this was a safer choice then the fire)

Ready to roll
We gave Finley her own basket this year (it is a small one) and she refused to let it go. She held on to it very tightly and proudly showed it to everyone. She also tried to sample the few goodies she acquired straight through the wrappers.
Goofy Buzz
The nice thing about all the neighbors having their candy out on a table was at the end of the night we could sift through C's candy and exchange his "peanut" candy with something he could eat and not have all the substitutions be Laffy Taffy.
