So today we (Brett and I) took Callum and Finley to see Dr. Charles for their check-ups. Both kiddos did great and we were especially impressed with how well Callum did. Since he is 3 now there were a few things that were new (getting his blood pressure taken, finger stick, using the restroom etc.). He was very cooperative and sat on the table all by himself both for the nurse's part and then when the doctor came in the room. Finley was well behaved too and unfortunately has her first double ear infection (which isn't entirely a surprise because she was up and down all night last night so we had a feeling that this was a possibility). Other than the ear infection she too is very healthy and she even handled her finger stick with only minor crying. The only concern that Dr. Charles had was that she has only gained a pound since her 6 month visit (and only 6 oz in the past 2 months). He said this is likely due to her distractability and gave us the go ahead to add some fat (butter, whole milk, heavy whipping cream) to her meals to help her get some extra fat. We are very blessed to have two very healthy kiddos. Here are the official stats:

Weight: 35 lbs (highest percentile in his life)
