Yesterday we headed to the zoo (for the 3rd time in a week, it is a good thing we have a membership) and this time we took Ms. Kayla and Mr. Mitchell.

It was fun to see the animals but the real reason that we went was to take advantage of the ice rink that is set up at the zoo through the end of this month. Since we went in the morning of a week day the rink was deserted and it was perfect since this was Callum's first time on ice skates (all his previous ice experience has been while wearing shoes not skates). It was great to have 3 adults to help him and we are very thankful that Ms. Kayla and Mr. Mitchell joined us.

| The other nice thing about the rink being deserted was that Callum could sit on the ice and he didn't get run over. |

| Finley got a little bored watching but next time maybe she will be able to try out the ice as well. We will see. |
