Pumpkin Carving

Today we decided it was time to carve some pumpkins in preparation for Halloween.  We are doing it a few weeks early, so I hope the weather remains mild so the pumpkins make it to Halloween.

Update - They did not make it.  About a week from Halloween they started to rot from the inside out.  Live and Learn.

Emmett enjoyed hanging out with everyone.

Finley was convinced that she needed to wear her helmet while she decorated her pumpkin.  Not entirely sure why, but it does add to her absolute cuteness as a pumpkin decorator.

 

He boys actually carved the pumpkins and they turned out great.
