Look Who's ONE

That's right a year ago today your daddy and I headed to the hospital not knowing who was in there an now we feel very blessed (and kind of like we won the lottery) that it was you sweet Finley.  It has been an amazing year and we have enjoyed watching you grow and learn about your world.  We LOVE you tons and are looking forward to what the next year brings.

F has recently discovered the rocking horse that my grandfather
made from me and she LOVES it.

At one year Finley you are still breast stroking when you crawl but you do like to pull up to your knees to play with items and you will stand with one hand held for quite a while.  You move your feet like you are walking when we hold your hands.  You eat more table foods much more often than baby food and you really want to eat what we are having for dinner.  You have 3 teeth (two in the bottom and one on the top) with another tooth on the top that is going to pop through any day.  You are very opinionated and at times you throw fits when you don't get your way.  As of yesterday you are off the bottle and are drinking your milk (though occasionally begrudgingly) from a sippy cup.
