It is hard to believe that in just 2 short months this sweet angel will be turning one year old. Finley we love you so much and you bring some much love, laughter, and joy to our lives. In the past month you have started to "crawl" (really you look like an inch worm but it is forward motion so we think it counts), though you still roll a lot, and you are most motivated to move forward when you are able to get to the remote, the cat, the computer (the real one not the toy one), or food items, such as your brother's Cheerios. Speaking of your brother, he has taken to regularly telling us and anyone else who will listen that you are a trouble maker and when pressed further he says that you are a trouble maker because you steal his food and toys and eat them, which you regularly do. We know that you love to do things that will get a rise out of your brother or us (chew on your shoe, steal a napkin, try to take a toy, etc.) because you get this big grin on your face and laugh hysterically when you succeed. You are starting to stand up when you are placed up against things (ie the coffee table or couch) but you haven't quite mastered the landing yet when you legs get tired so we still have to spot you quite religiously. You love to eat and want to be involved when anyone is eating even if you have just nursed or had a meal yourself. Despite only having your two bottom teeth you are able to eat just about anything including chicken nuggets and broccoli. You have started waving to people and clap your hands in approval. When you laugh or are happy you have started to wrinkle your nose which Mommy thinks is adorable. We love you so much!
