Pickles and Pork

Today we had a special visitor pass through town, Aunt Missy!  She was helping her friend move to Georgia and they decided to stop and have lunch with us.  We decided that BBQ was the way to go and headed to Corky's for a yummy meal (and EVERYONE thought it was yummy including Finley, who after leering and lunging at my plate was allowed to gnaw on a pickle and even ate a good portion of shredded pork (sans BBQ sauce) which she LOVED.  Introducing solids to the second child is definitely going differently.  With Callum I tried everything one at a time and for 3-4 days and no meats until he was close to a year; however, I have a feeling Finley is going to be introduced to foods quicker and likely move to table foods faster than he did.  Such is the life of the second child).  Anyway back to lunch: we all had a great time visiting and enjoy the food and company a lot.
Yumm...Pickles and Pork

Callum and Aunt Missy
(Off Topic: But when we got Melissa and Matthew's Christmas
Card this week which has a few wedding pics on it Callum opened it up and said:
"It's Uncle Matt and Missy!!  This is good mail.  I love that picture!!")

After lunch and saying our good-byes to Missy, we headed to the zoo for a little family time.
In the entrance of the zoo they have an animatronic
dinosaur advertising their new exhibit coming this
spring.  Callum thought the Dino was cool from a
distance but we aren't sure that he was convinced
it wasn't going to eat him.  Brett even tried to line up
the shot with  Callum but this was as close as he wanted
to get on his own.

He finally agreed to have his picture taken if
daddy was in it.

Bundled up and Enjoying her time outside
