There has been a lot of baking going on at the Balderson household over the past two days and both children have participated, one at our prompting and one completely unprompted (though it is possible that she really wasn't trying to help but rather eat what was on the spoon). Yesterday we decided to run to the store (literally) and get cookie dough to make cookies for Santa and for the Firefighters at the firehouse in our neighborhood.

Tonight as a special treat for dessert, Brett made a Pumpkin Pie with a Gluten Free cookie crust and Finley really wanted to help him stir. She kept grabbing the spoon from him.
