F's Official 4 Months Stats

Finley had her 4 month check-up on Monday and it went well.  She is on target for all of her milestones and while at times her hands and feet are blue (and no they are not cold) the pediatrician said that he hasn't seen or heard anything concerning and that it is normal for a while still.  That is reassuring!  Here are her stats:

Weight: 15lb 5oz (90th percentile)

Height: 24 1/2 inches (50-75th percentile)

For those who were wondering if Finley is bigger than Callum was at this point (which I was really thinking she was) the answer is actually no.  Callum got his Flu shot on Monday so I asked how much he weighed at 4 months and was surprised that he weighed 15lb 12oz. With this in mind it is amazing the difference in percentiles between the boy and girl growth charts because Callum was always in the 50th percentile for weight; however, he weighed more than his 90th percentile sister.  Go figure.  Just another example of why weight gain and not percentiles are important.
