The Big Switch

Last night marked the first night that Callum slept the entire night in his Toddler Bed. While the bed has been set up for a while and we have been talking about sleeping in it and offering to put him in it for several weeks, it has been met with tears and protests that he wanted to sleep in the crib. To be honest we hadn't been pushing it too hard though because of our two trips at the beginning of this month where he was going to have to sleep in a Pack'n'play. However, since we are home now for a while we decided it was time to make the leap. We rearranged his room and put his new bedding on the bed (it is covered in all sorts of sports balls which are Callum's favorite) and believe or not he went right to sleep and slept through the night with out fussing. Fingers crossed the transition will really be this easy.
