Our Incredible Little Family: WDW 2015

After having so much fun in 2013, we decided to return to Walt Disney World over fall break this year. Last time Emmett was only 10 months old and we were blessed to have Nana offer to keep him. However, since he is about to turn 3 we thought it was time to return before we needed to buy 5 park tickets (until they are 3 years old, kiddos get into the park and participate in character meals, etc. free of charge). We were joined by our sweet friends, a family that came with us last time who are Disney fanatics and did a wonderful job planning our trip.

Just like last time we drove to WDW this time. We took 2 days to drive to Orlando, stopping in Atlanta, GA on the way. Callum has been begging to go to Legoland; however, after much research we decided that Legoland might be the best choice for all out kiddos. Given this, we decided to go the Legoland Discovery Center which is in Atlanta. The all 3 of the kids had a blast and it was indoors which meant we did not needed to worry about the weather. YEAH!!

From Memphis to Orlando is around 14 hours and while the kids did get there did come a point between Atlanta and Orlando that we all got a little loopy. The car ride though did allow Emmett to discover a talent that he did not know he had...Sock Puppets. He took his socks off and put them on his hands with no prompting from anyone.

Needless to say we were all very happy to arrive at The Art of Animation and be able to get out of the car and not have to get right back in. This children thought all the animation sketches on the wall including this one from Finding Nemo.

After exploring the resort we got a goodnight's sleep and headed off to the Animal Kingdom. It was a fun filled day of going on Safari and seeking out a variety of different as well as Emmett getting his groove on.

After a fun filled day at the park we headed to Downtown Disney for dinner and exploring the fun that a waits one, including REALLY, REALLY large plates of ice cream and a visit to Arendelle.

The Magic Kingdom was up next. This included meeting many princesses and other characters as well as riding several rides. One of our first stops was to visit the princesses from Arendelle.

This was as close to a character that Emmett for the first 3 days we were at WDW. The ultimate depiction of the middle school hug. He is too much.

All 3 were tall enough to ride the Barnstormer this go around so we can now say that Emmett had ridden a roller coaster. He was not too please when he got off the ride and politely refused to ride another roller coaster ride for the remainder of the trip.

We also visited Mickey and several of his friends. Callum was in heaven and Emmett started to get the hang of it.

When we finally got back to the room everyone was exhausted and C and F shared and bed and this was just too cute not to document.

We visited Epcot and Hollywood Studios as well but we were poor photographers for that day. Whoops! However, the grown-ups went back in the evening to Epcot for food and wine festival and the Disney photographer captured this great picture of Brett and I.

Our final day was spent back at the Magic Kingdom. We enjoyed some other rides as well as breakfast with the Disney Princesses. Who thought giving the 4 year old a driver's license should probably reconsider, I have first hand knowledge and do not believe she is a safe choice for the road.
