First Word

It is official, Finley's first word is "hi." We have debated that it might have been Dada (she uses it about 70% of the time for Brett and 30% for other things); however, in the end we decided her official first word is in fact "hi."  She has been saying it for a few weeks and is very consistent when she uses it (yes I am a Speech Pathologist and have to make sure that it is in fact a true word before I will call it).  She will also occasionally say "Ma" for me and is starting to sign "milk" for her cup.  She also has her debutante wave down and loves to blow kisses. She is becoming quite the communicator.
