33 Weeks
So we had our retry 3D/4D ultrasound this week and 'Kermit' chose not to participate again. This time his/her face was smashed into the side and refused to move so in the words of the tech, "he/she really wants to be a surprise." Here is a 2D profile picture that we got though: (The SLP in me was very excited to be able to see 'Kermit' swallowing and moving his/her tongue, I know I am a nerd)
Here are the 3 three things that we learned during this ultrasound: 1) 'Kermit' is shy, at least in utero 2) 'Kermit' is a contortionist. The tech first said that 'Kermit' was head down but after further looking she changed her statement to a little transverse because there is a foot on my cervix right next to his/her head. So basically 'Kermit' was balled up tight in there. ('Kermit's' orientation really isn't a concern since this will be a c-section just like Callum though) 3) 'Kermit' has A LOT of hair, which if you believe the old wives tale that hair=heartburn than that is right on track.
We are getting very excited to meet this sweet little soul and find out if we have a 'Kermit' or a 'Kermitta' in there.
