33 Weeks

So we had our retry 3D/4D ultrasound this week and 'Kermit' chose not to participate again. This time his/her face was smashed into the side and refused to move so in the words of the tech, "he/she really wants to be a surprise." Here is a 2D profile picture that we got though: (The SLP in me was very excited to be able to see 'Kermit' swallowing and moving his/her tongue, I know I am a nerd)Here are the 3 three things that we learned during this ultrasound: 1) 'Kermit' is shy, at least in utero 2) 'Kermit' is a contortionist. The tech first said that 'Kermit' was head down but after further looking she changed her statement to a little transverse because there is a foot on my cervix right next to his/her head. So basically 'Kermit' was balled up tight in there. ('Kermit's' orientation really isn't a concern since this will be a c-section just like Callum though) 3) 'Kermit' has A LOT of hair, which if you believe the old wives tale that hair=heartburn than that is right on track.
Here is what 'Kermit' looks like from the outside at 33 weeks.
We are getting very excited to meet this sweet little soul and find out if we have a 'Kermit' or a 'Kermitta' in there.
