First Real Sentence

While Callum has been putting a few words together, the Speech Language Pathologist in me has not wanted to count these are true 2 and 3 word utterances because I did not have conclusive proof that Callum realized that these utterances were really more than a single long word. Basically this means that while he has been using longer utterances such as "I see you" and "I got it" I think that he has heard us use them all together and he hasn't yet used each of these words separately so I cannot in good conscience count them; however, yesterday this all changed. Completely unprompted either by his family or by being visually presented with the item Callum told us "I want Cheese." This was quickly followed by "I need milk." Our little one is growing up.
